PROCEDURE TEXT is a text that is designed to describe of actions or steps. It explain how people perform different processes in a sequence of steps. This text uses the temperal conjuction such as first , second , then , finally , etc.

GENERIC STRUCTURE:

• GOAL/AIM (TITLE)
• MATERIAL ( NOT REQUIRED TELL IS PROCEDURAL)
• STEPS ( THE ACTIONS THAT MUST BE TAKEN)

EXAMPLE : 

How to make Frozen Lemonade (goal/aim)

Materials :

• 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons of sugar
• 1 glass of water

Steps :

1. Slice a lemon in half and squeeze juice into a cup
2. Take out the seeds
3. Pour two tablespoons of juice into glass
4. Add sugar
5. Add water and stir well
6. Taste the lemonade . You may want to add more sugar or more lemon to make it taste just right
7. Put it in ice cubes
8. Finally lemonade is ready to serve
